This project was created as part of a design test for the Virginia Tech Athletics Department. The first task was to develop two graphics for a hypothetical Men’s Basketball trip to the Final Four. I was asked to create an advancing graphic for social media and a billboard design to be displayed in the city of the Final Four. The second half of the test involved creating a supplemental item of my choice.
For my supplemental design, I chose to create a giveaway. Within the giveaway, I designed and branded a pennant, bucket hat, t-shirt, and stickers. This would be advertised on social media to get students to come to the game and support the Hokies.
This project allowed me to showcase my ability to work within brand guidelines while bringing fresh creativity to the designs.
